An entire squad of MTFs are slaughtered after the equipment's purposeful flaw shows, showing the Foundation how dangerous SCP-096 is and how catastrophic it would be if say, a picture like the mountaineer's was accidentally leaked to a massive group of people, forcing the organization to mark it for termination. The breach was caused solely because a mountaineer happened to take a picture that contained 4 pixels of SCP-096's face far in the background. Knowing the Foundation would never realize the true danger of SCP-096 until it caused major damage, Dan created a purposely faulty method of looking at SCP-096's face without enraging it for Mobile Task Force units to use, as SCP-096 has recently breached containment. SCP-096 swims around the entire globe in under 40 minutes and violently slaughters the D class as later 096 and the sketch are safely contained. After this state, it'll lash out and kill whoever has viewed its face, the viewer being referred to as SCP-096-1. While usually passive and docile, once any human views its face, whether it be personal, footage, or even a photograph, will enter a state of major agitation.
